From January to March 2017, we carried out the project “Monitoring of municipal action plan for social protection in the Municipality of Kumanovo”.
This was an activity within the IPA project “Promoting social inclusion through effective use of EU funding” implemented by the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” Skopje (IDSCS) and project partners Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) and the Organization of women of the Municipality of Sveti Nikole (OWSN).
The activities included desk research, conducting interviews with employees working in the social protection sector in the municipality of Kumanovo and interviews with representatives from civil society organizations.
An activity within this research project was a study visit to Ljubljana, in order the researchers to get introduced with the social protection system in Slovenia, as a contribution for the recommendations within the research report.
The findings are presented in the report prepared by the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” Skopje (IDSCS).
